What Is In-Home Lab Testing?
In-home lab testing means a licensed medical provider comes to your home to draw blood and collect samples for laboratory analysis. Instead of driving to a lab, taking a number, and waiting in a crowded room, you simply open your front door and let our provider handle the rest.
At Vitality To-Go, we offer comprehensive lab panels that cover the same tests you would receive at any medical lab — including complete metabolic panels, lipid panels, complete blood counts, thyroid function, vitamin levels, hormone panels, and more. Every sample is processed by a certified laboratory, and results are reviewed by your provider who will schedule a follow-up to discuss findings and recommendations.
In-home lab testing is available as a standalone service or as part of our medical weight loss, hormone therapy, and preventive care programs. For patients already enrolled in a program, regular lab monitoring is included in your care plan and drawn at your home during scheduled visits.
Available Lab Panels
Our comprehensive lab panel ($249) is our most popular option and includes a complete metabolic panel (CMP) covering glucose, electrolytes, kidney function, and liver function; a lipid panel measuring total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides; a complete blood count (CBC) assessing red and white blood cells, hemoglobin, and platelets; thyroid function tests including TSH and free T4; vitamin D levels; and hemoglobin A1C for diabetes screening.
For patients interested in hormone health, we offer a hormone panel add-on ($99) that can be added to any lab panel. This includes testosterone (total and free), estradiol, progesterone, DHEA-S, and cortisol levels. This panel is essential for anyone considering hormone therapy or experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalance.
We also offer specialty labs based on your provider's recommendations. These may include inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR), iron studies, vitamin B12, folate, PSA (for men), and other tests tailored to your specific health needs. Your provider will recommend the appropriate tests based on your medical history, symptoms, and health goals.
Why Choose In-Home Lab Testing?
Traditional lab visits are one of the most inconvenient parts of healthcare. You have to schedule an appointment (often weeks out), drive to the lab, check in, wait your turn, get your blood drawn, and then wait days or weeks for results — often without any explanation of what they mean.
Vitality To-Go transforms this experience entirely. Our licensed providers come to your home at a time that works for you. The entire process — from check-in to blood draw — takes about 15-20 minutes. Results are typically available within 3-5 business days, and your provider schedules a follow-up visit (in-home or telehealth) to review every result, explain what it means, and recommend any needed changes to your care.
This is especially valuable for patients who need regular lab monitoring — like those on weight loss medications or hormone therapy. Instead of making a separate trip to a lab every few months, your labs are drawn during your regular at-home visit. It is seamless, efficient, and eliminates one more barrier to staying on top of your health.
For patients across Salt Lake County and Utah County — from Salt Lake City and Sandy to Herriman and Lehi — in-home lab testing means no more rearranging your schedule around a lab appointment. Your health monitoring fits into your life, not the other way around.
